In July 2018, Pilgrim’s Mexico organized an event at its Porvenir facility, where PROFEPA (Federal Office of Environmental Protection) delivered “Clean Industry” certificates to the following North complex facilities: processing plants Citra, Porvenir and Popular; feed mills 1 and 2; hatcheries Citra and Petsa. Additionally, the complex’s service center was recognized for “Environmental Quality”. Different authorities of Federal, State and Municipal Government attended the ceremony.
